French "citation" by Maurice Barrés

"un voyage, c'est trois voyages, trois etapes de la pensee: c'est d'abord ce que l'on a desire, pressenti, et malgre soi, avant le depart, appele; c'est sur place les choses vues. Et puis c'est, apres le retour, les choses que nous retenons, ce qui est vraiment demeure en nous d'une telle experience."

"A trip, it's three journeys, three stages of thought: it is first what we desire, anticipate and perceive before departure.  Then, what we live in the moment.  And finally, after the return, it is the memories we hold, and it is that which really dwells in us as an experience. "

45 days before our trip

We decided to open a blog where you'll be able to follow us during our world tour. At the moment we plan a 6-10 months world tour, but it might be more or less - we hope not less - (depending on the finances).

Today, we are around 45 days before "The Big Day" and we bought our RTW tickets 2 months ago which include the following flights:

- London > Bangkok
- Singapore > Jakarta
- Bali > Sydney
- Sydney > Santiago
- LA > London

We still need to finalise few things, but it should be "The Trip" we have been talking about for so long...
